Bio

Anton
Funck (b. 1992) lives and works in Copenhagen. He currently studies at The
Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Visual Arts.

In his ever-evolving practice, Funck explores repetition and variation through various mediums and techniques, including painting, collage, textiles, and printmaking. Working within a poetic visual language, his organic and otherworldly works trace cyclical movements of light, shadow, and darkness. Even his most abstract paintings function less as representations than as conceptual structures that act as visual propositions, gesturing toward unseen worlds and the intangible forces of nature. Through luminous colour and fragmented perspectives, his works invite new sensory experiences of imagined mental landscapes.
