Juxtapoz: End Pages produce the enduring spirit of Margaret Kilgallen

"There has never been enough written about Margaret Kilgallen (1967—2001). And everytime there is an exhibition of her work, either in a solo context or with the works of her husband Barry McGee, there is literal magic in the room and a curiousity of considering of the immense impact she had on the art world but how singular that world she created truly was. There has never been anyone like her and still no one even remotely close to her ideas of form, aesthetic, story and material. EndPages, a new look at her work at V1 Gallery reconsiders and illuminates some of the elegant and rawness of her use of "material, language, and form." This show looks at her use of typography, her intimacy with paper, all coming from and influenced by her time at the San Francisco Public Library"
