Pacific Time Out is a loaded visual timeline presenting wall hung works generated from a 3 months time out on the pacific coast. Just like travel memories the works vary in size and media. Mixing drawing, painting, poetry, photography and found objects.
Frederik Nystrup-Larsen (born 1992, Denmark) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He holds a MA from The Royal College of Art, sculpture department, London. His MA Degree project, The Private Collection, was presented at Eighteen, Copenhagen, Denmark (2020). For the past three years, he has made several exhibitions and collaborative projects with the Danish artist Oliver Sundqvist. Recent solo, duo and group exhibitions include Soft Boxing IV, ALMA, Stockholm, Sweden (2023), Landscape is a Verb, with Amanda Lydért, Gallery Servando, Havana, Cuba (2023), Love Is Not Enough BOY, Eighteen, Copenhagen, Denmark (2021), Under/Over (East), Marta, New York, USA (2021), De Oro en su Núcleo, Pradiauto, Madrid, Spain (2021), and Zero, Side Gallery, Barcelona, Spain (2021). Amanda Lydért (born 1994, Denmark) lives and works in Copenhagen. She graduated from Royal College of Art, London in 2022 with an MA in Fine Art, from the Critical Practice Department. Lydért is a conceptual artist interested specifically with epistemological investigation and manipulation (often personal). Her practice is influenced by an educational background in aesthetic theory and design culture - her way is poetic, always relying on the seduction of beauty, never neglecting the power of humour. She deals primarily with text, digital print, painting and sculptural installation.
