ASGER CARLSEN IN WEEKENDAVISEN

“Landskabets udflydende skønhed” (“the beauty of an amorphous landscape”). In the travel section of today’s Danish newspaper @weekendavisen.dk, this photographic-sculptural hybrid from Asger Carlsen’s 2011 series “Hester” illustrates a fictive travelogue about life as a solitary journey written by Danish writer Harald Voetmann. 3 of Carlsen’s works from the same series are currently on view @v1gallery downstairs gallery as part of Today’s Special #6.
