Sofie Burgaard participates in group exhibition 'The Cute' at Sophienholm

Is there a special kind of nordic cuteness and what does it look like? This is the point of departure for the new exhibition opening at Sophienholm Thursday May 1. 2025. A new generation of artists have embraced cuteness in their art by utilizing adorable, childish and kitsch elements and styles to make interesting works. 

The exhibition include works by Luca Bjørnsten (DK), Evo Sidney Wendel (DK), Malin Molin (SE), Emma Ainala (FI), Kathrine Ærtebjerg (DK), Alberte Skronski (DK), Anna Aagaard Jensen (DK) og Aki Turunen (FI), Stefan Tchereplin (US), Ida Thorhauge (DK), Cecilie Penney (DK) og Sofie Burgaard (DK).
