Additionally, he has created a sculpture for the CHART x Tivoli collaboration, which will be on display at Tivoli Gardens.
At Kunsthal Charlottenborg, we will showcase new works by Cristina de Miguel in the entrance hallway. Finally, Mads Hilbert will contribute a piece to the 'Start Collecting' section of CHART Art Fair.

COPENHAGEN CITY
SUMMER GUIDE
This summer, you can explore exciting new projects and art by V1 Gallery artists all across the city. Keep reading to discover our recommendations for design collaborations to check out and places to wine and dine surrounded by art.
In the city center, at Amagertorv, you will find Royal Copenhagen's flagship store where you can view and purchase the porcelain brand's collaboration with artist Klara Lilja. Twenty-five unique art platters have been created, uniting Klara Lilja’s world of flora, fauna and lush organic shapes with Royal Copenhagen’s legacy of craftsmanship.
Just around the corner, you'll find the three-floor design store HAY. Here you can discover La Pittura, a hand-painted ceramic tableware collection by Emma Kohlmann, created in collaboration with HAY, where Kohlmann’s signature emotive figures and intuitive brushwork bring spontaneity and feeling to functional design.
Café Sommersko—the first Parisian-style café in Scandinavia that originally opened in 1976—has now reopened on Palægade in the city center. The café’s original atmosphere has been thoughtfully preserved and updated, now featuring works by Emma Kohlmann, Monica Kim Garza, Kaspar Oppen Samuelsen, Frederik Nystrup-Larsen, Søren Behncke, Kent Iwemyr, and Misaki Kawai.
If you have to work this summer, why not work at the newly opened office full-service space HAUS, surrounded by wonderful art? At HAUS on Hauser Plads, you can experience a selection of works by Cristina de Miguel, Dan Flanagan, Emma Kohlmann, Frederik Nystrup-Larsen, Fryd Frydendahl, Kaspar Oppen Samuelsen, Kent Iwemyr, Søren Behncke, Klara Lilja, Mads Hilbert, Maximillian Brown and Misaki Kawai.
This summer season at the 2-Michelin-starred restaurant Kadeau, located on Wildersgade in Christianshavn, you can enjoy dishes made from freshly harvested produce from the restaurant’s own garden and foraged ingredients—while surrounded by artworks by Anika Lori, Frederik Nystrup-Larsen, Mads Hilbert, Marcus Leslie Singleton and Yukari Hotta.
Also in Christianshavn, you’ll find Khana—the latest venture from Restaurant Donda. Here, dishes fuse local ingredients with South Asian flavors, served alongside sun-soaked scenes of Monica Kim Garza’s lounging women.
A bit further out at Papirøen, Frederik Nystrup-Larsen and his design studio, Niko June, have opened Café Niko just a few steps from the water. The space is furnished with the studio’s own design objects and they serve coffee and simple, easy food like oatmeal and toast—making it the perfect place for a swim and a snack.
Lastly, if you're in the other end of the city in Nørrebro, make sure to stop by Veranda on Griffenfeldsgade for a great wine selection and a chance to view new works by Mads Bryld.
Enjoy your summer and we look forward to seeing you again when the galleries reopen July 29!
If you have inquiries regarding artists or artworks in the meantime, you are always welcome to reach out to us at mail@v1gallery.com.
