 V1 Gallery offers a position as Assistant Gallery Director / Social Media Manager / Editor at our headquarters in the Meatpacking District of Copenhagen. The candidate will be introduced to the many aspects and daily operations of an international gallery.

 Tasks include but are not limited to:

 - Liaising with clients, artists, and collaborators
- Sales in-gallery and online
- Writing and editing newsletters
- Writing news posts, updating exhibitions and artist profiles on our website
- Managing the V1 Gallery and Eighteen Instagram
- Business development, including establishing new relations to private/public collectors, collections, institutions as well as art consultants
- Taking an active part in previews, openings, and art fairs
- Exhibition production in collaboration with gallery team and managers
- Practical tasks that arise in the day-to-day maintenance of the galleries 

We are looking for a candidate who is:

- Self-motivated, proactive, solution- and detail-oriented
- Fluency in written and spoken English, along with basic proficiency in written and spoken Danish, is required
- Interest in contemporary art
- Solid sense of order and self-organization
- Flexible in terms of working hours
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Shopify is an advantage but not a requirement

It is a full-time, paid position of 37,5 hours/week. Working days are Tuesday to Friday 9:00-17:30 and Saturdays 11:00-15:00. Extra hours should be expected during exhibition previews, exhibition openings, art fairs and events/releases.

Starting primo December (unless otherwise agreed) until November 2026. 

About V1 Gallery / Eighteen / V1 SALON:

V1 Gallery was founded in 2002 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Today the gallery has three locations, V1 Gallery, V1 SALON and Eighteen, in the central meatpacking district of Copenhagen. In V1 Gallery and Eighteen you can enjoy changing exhibitions. In V1 SALON you will find a curated selection of original artworks, books, editions and are invited to experience exhibitions, talks and signings.
