Inquiry

In HuskMitNavn's new exhibition, he literally deconstructs the picture frame and plays with the unwritten rules that in a museum you should speak quietly, walk slowly and, finally, not touch anything. In the exhibition att Brandts Kunstmueum, you can move through the golden frames and, for example, disappear into a Jackson Pollock drip painting, climb into a Piet Mondrian installation or put on fly wings.

“A lot of art is very far from the lives we live. Art too often feels like homework. But why does art always have to be deep and serious, why can't it just be fun? I want to show the children that art and the museum are also a space for them” - HuskMitNavn

The sensory exhibition is aimed at children aged 4 to 10 – older siblings and adults will probably also have a wonderful experience. During the Christmas holidays it is possible to book a visit at www.brandts.dk and avoid waiting time.

The solo exhibition by HuskMitNavn will open December 13.
