Focus: Dylan Rose Rheingold
Dylan Rose Rheingold’s (b. 1997, New York, NY) lives and works in New York City. Her practice is heavily influenced by the concept of identity as it explores girlhood, memory and nostalgia within American contemporary culture. Building a bridge between abstract figuration & surrealism, her dreamscape paintings act as outlets of self-reflection and storytelling, exploring mundane moments in our private lives while reflecting on aspects of intimacy and otherness through a feminine lens. Dylan Rose Rheingold received her MFA in Painting from The School of Visual Arts, New York, NY and her BFA from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY. Recent solo exhibitions include Best In Show, M+B, Los Angeles, CA; Lost in the Dress Up Bin, T293 Gallery, Rome, Italy and A Rose is Still a Rose, Jupiter Contemporary, Miami, FL.
