Magnus Bons, art critic for the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter, praises Sara-Vide Ericson’s exhibition at Gammel Strand, noting that her work evokes comparisons to renowned painters such as Bruno Liljefors and Mamma Andersson:

"(..) all this can be attributed to the joy of painting, to the intoxication of creating the world with oil paint and chalk, which is so contagious in Ericson's impressively rich exhibition. The more than thirty paintings were all completed this year and made directly for Gammel Strand.

Ericson is clearly in an expansive phase of her already extensive artistic career, and here she deepens themes and refines techniques. Like the way of spraying the paint onto the canvas, visible in the presentation at Bonniers Konsthall a couple of years ago, which now adds further sharpness and relief to the paintings. The oil paint is shiny and delicious like buttercream on a pastry"
