Inquiry

For nearly a decade, Peter Funch regularly visited the intersection of 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue at a set time. During this unique meeting, the photographer immortalized the people passing through to discover the motifs of the city:

“For me, this work of recognition is central. […] This project taught me that I enjoy being a voyeur, being with people, in front of them. I like to wander, to walk to observe, and photography has been my passport to travel ,”.
