PETER FUNCH RECOMMENDED IN FRENCH NATIONAL NEWSPAPER LIBÉRATION

12 Nov 2017 -

We are proud to see Peter Funch’s fine works from 42nd and Vanderbilt recommended in the daily French national newspaper Libération‘s covering of Paris Photo: HERE

Funch has photographed passers-by between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, from 2007 to 2016, at the southern corner of 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in New York City… Funch brings to the surface the minutiae contained within a fragment of our daily routine, the short walk from Point A to Point B, reminding us that the practice of photography in general, and street photography specifically, has only scratched the surface of possibility.

Today is the final day of Pris Photo. Don’t miss out on our presentation Broken Camera with works by Peter Funch, Asger Carlsen, Jacob Holdt, Fryd Frydendahl, and Rose Eken.
